Our mission
heritage.5l5l.net makes the complete UNESCO World Heritage List easy to browse on any device, in ten languages. We publish every site with its English name, country or countries, coordinates, inscription year, category (cultural / natural / mixed) and a short description.
The site is free, requires no account, and is designed to load fast on school computers and mobile connections.
What you will find here
Browse the full list, filter by category (cultural, natural, mixed), or explore sites by country using the two-letter ISO country codes.
Each site page shows the UNESCO ID, country, coordinates, inscription year, category, a description and a link to the corresponding Wikidata item. Where available, we show a representative image from Wikimedia Commons.
Data source and license
Site data — names, country attribution, coordinates, inscription year, descriptions, categories and images — comes from Wikidata, in particular via the World Heritage Site property (P757). Wikidata is a free knowledge base released under the CC0 public domain dedication.
Images are hosted by Wikimedia Commons and remain under their respective licenses; the link is always attributed to the source page.
Accuracy
We copy data as-is from Wikidata and do not editorialize. If you notice an error, the authoritative source is the linked Wikidata item, and corrections should be made there.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to UNESCO.
